Every year, celebrity Halloween costumes get more elaborate - and this year certainly didn’t disappoint.
Instead of going for a safe and simple costume, some celebrities opted for huge transformations with prosthetics and makeup leaving them completely unrecognisable.
Here are some of our favourite celeb Halloween transformations:
Lil Nas X as the infamous Lord Voldemort from the Harry Potter series - or as he captioned: “He who must be called by your name.”
Lizzo as Baby Yoda, pictured with a chilled cocktail in a coconut shell and giving a whole new meaning to the character’s peaceful demeanour.
Janelle Monae as The Grinch. Christmas came early for this star and we are right behind her in the holiday spirit!
Ariana Grande as Miss Creature from the Black Lagoon with husband Dalton Gomez in the role of the scuba driver. Certainly a huge transformation from high ponies and heels, to scales and gills.
Shea Coulée dressed as Bigfoot Bae. Who better to pull off this combination of sexy and terrifying for Halloween than the winner of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars season 5?
The Weeknd as The Godfather’s Don Corleone. Credit has to be given to makeup artist Mike Marino, who used prosthetics and SPFx makeup to complete the look. A real artistic masterpiece.
With Halloween officially over for 2021, we have no doubt that celebs will already be brainstorming for the next year and we can’t wait to see what they have in store.
