*Spoilers ahead! *
Season four of Dynasty ended with Liam Ridley and Fallon Carrington’s reunion, giving the audience a glimmer of hope for the show’s power couple to work through their problems and Fallon’s infidelity (thanks for that Eva). However, it wouldn’t be a season finale if it didn’t end with a major cliff-hanger, leaving everyone fearing for Fallon’s life and anxiously re-watching old episodes until we find out what happens next.
While we wait for Season 5 to air, coming soon on The CW in December with a two-hour premiere, let’s take a look at the most iconic fashion moments so far. Something that was equally important as the plot.
One of the many dresses Fallon wore in the season finale
The white Elie Saab feather-trimmed gown that Fallon (Elizabeth Gillies) wore in the episode "Filled with Manipulations and Deceptions" retails for $2,430 and only added to the drama of her being shot by Eva. Besides the initial shock of the scene, the rest of the world is left wondering how she managed to look so good while holding her last breath.
Dominique’s power suit
Dominique Deveraux (Michael Michele) has one of the best wardrobes in the show, full of power suits and gowns that would make any fashionista green with envy. Dominique wore the Alexander McQueen suit co-ord with a black turtleneck and Galaviti P Strass Louboutins. It truly screams power.
Monica’s Balmain number
While we didn’t see much of Monica Colby (Wakeema Hollis) in this season, she did make an appearance in episode 5 dressed to the nines for her grandmother’s funeral in this Balmain suit.
One of Jeff’s many tuxedos
Jeff Colby (Sam Adegoke) is unquestionably the best-dressed man on Dynasty. He is the type of man who could pull off wearing a bin bag and make it a fashion statement. While the Dolce & Gabbana suit may not be everyone's cup of tea, Jeff does it justice.
Kirby’s green dress
Aside from the fact that the dress was ruined when Kirby (Maddison Brown) was stabbed by Fallon's insane "ex" Evan, she looked like she stepped right off the cover of Vogue in the green Galvan satin gown.
Cristal’s Bouclé co-ord
Daniella Alonso, who plays Cristal Carrington, was pregnant while filming season 4 of the show, and the stylists did an excellent job of covering up the fact. While they may have failed with this outfit, and sometimes her outfits aren’t always a hit with viewers, she looked stunning in the Cinq à Sep Bouclé co-ord, giving us Cristal season 2 vibes.
Fallon’s funeral dress
There’s no doubt that some of the audience may have felt concerned about Liam as they spotted Fallon at the funeral. It's no surprise that Fallon looked stunning in this Galvan organza trench dress, even for such a sad occasion.
Eva’s plaid co-ord
While it is painful to incorporate Eva (Kara Royster) on this list with all the drama she caused between Fallon and Liam, this is one look that cannot be forgotten. The Veronica Beard plaid co-ord was her best outfit in the season and she wore it well. Side note - here’s to hoping we won’t see much of her in season 5.
Alexis’ lack and white Balmain dress
Every outfit Alexis (Elaine Hendrix) wears screams Alexis, and this Balmain two-tone off-the-shoulder dress is no exception. We know she enjoys drama and dresses accordingly.
Fallon’s red Gucci leather suit
Are you sitting down? This Gucci ensemble that Fallon wore in episode 6 costs $13,680, a cost that could easily cover a year's worth of rent. Leaving that aside, it was a true power move.
Sam’s wedding blazer
The audience knows that Sam (Rafael de la Fuente) is a bit quirky, and his outfits never fail to impress. He wore the Saint Laurent "Jacquard-Effect Single-Breasted Blazer" to Fallon and Liam's wedding that never actually happened. Or at least not in the way that everyone expected.
Dominique’s sequin jumpsuit
Dominique is always dressed as the winner, whether one of her many schemes succeeds or fails. She wore the Galvan sequin jumpsuit after outsmarting Fallon in her own scheme to convince Dominique to join her shopping network.
Last but not least, an appreciation for Fallon’s suits
This show’s fans already know that the Dynasty women adore blazers, co-ords, and any other piece of clothing that gives them a sense of dominance. Fallon's wardrobe in particular is heavily focused on suits, and whether she's wearing an Alex Perry or a Dolce & Gabbana, she's always dressed to conquer the world.
