Jeshi - Protein ft. Obongjayar

Teaming up with Nigerian artist Obongjayar, British alternative-rap artist Jeshi has unveiled another track 'Protein' amongst his string of singles in the run-up to his debut album Universal Credit. With the visuals picking up where the previous single '3210' left off, we see Jeshi riding in the back of a car and speaking on staying positive even when it seems like things are against you.

Dylan Sinclair - Lifetime

Coming at us with a smooth R&B number, Dylan Sinclair presents us with a confessional track that speaks on his conscious effort to remain grounded and tethered to his roots whilst being in the spotlight. Sharing cinematic visuals to go alongside the track, the Toronto native also shared some insight about his upcoming EP. "No Longer in the Suburbs really represents the search for that stimulation, that faster life or those experiences that when you're old, you get to look back on them and be like, yeah, I did that and with people that I love."

Pusha T - It's Almost Dry

Four years after the incredible Daytona album, rap mogul, trendsetter and former Clipse member Pusha T has finally revealed his highly anticipated album It's Almost Dry, which was co-produced by close collaborators Pharrell (The Neptunes) and Kanye West. Taking his iconic 'coke-rap' into his stride, he reminds us that he is one of the most prolific rappers of today's time.

Midas The Jagaban - 420

Celebrating the '420' holiday in style with colourful visuals, amapiano musician Midas The Jagaban released a surprise track this week featuring Nigerian songstress Liya. With a staple sound that combines the sounds of Nigeria into the west, Midas The Jagaban marks her first release of 2022 with '420' and doesn't fall short of delivering infectious vibes.

Tora-i - Lounging

Tora-i, formerly known as Toria, released the emotional and atmospheric single 'Lounging' fit with a subtle piano and saxophone that accentuates the contemplative sonic of the track. Speaking on the track, Tora-i mentions, "Lounging is an everyday conversation between partners, they’re going back and forth but still there isn’t any movement. A pretty common and unnecessary stage & it’s ultimately about deciding what’s more important, ego or the betterment of you both."
