NOT THE TWOS - HAHA
Returning in 2022, NOT THE TWOS released the new single ‘HAHA’ alongside visuals and comes from their forthcoming debut project titled A Girl That Sold Drugs. With the new single encapsulating a sinister energy, Tim Maxey who is the band creator said about the track: “I find humour in the things I’m afraid of. Then I’m not afraid anymore,” With the band collaborating with global rapper Kendrick Lamar with him sampling their track ‘PARADISE’ on his album Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers, there’s no doubt that NOT THE TWOS are heading to some great places.
Rema ft. Selena Gomez- Calm Down (Remix)
Linking up with one of the biggest Afrorave artists right now, pop sensation Selena Gomez joined forced with Rema on a remixed version of his popular 'Calm Down' track. Adding a fun and romantic back and forth between themselves with Selena's vocals sitting nicely on the track, 'Calm Down' the remix comes after clips surfaced of the two of them on his US tour, sparking conversation with both of their fans.
Chloe Bodur - Kitty & I
Announcing her RÜYA EP alongside a brand new single 'Kitty & I', songstress Chloe Bodur unveiled her new single which speaks on how women are treated in relationships as well as embracing female pleasure. As she serenades us with heavenly vocals accompanied with retro style visuals, Chloe referenced Beyoncé's 'Kitty Kat' as her inspiration for the track to keep the mood light but also as a statement for men. “I think women are incredible, god-like, mystical creatures and deserved to be adored as such." she says.
TINK - Pillow Talk
US R&B musician TINK released a full 16-track album which has her at her most vulnerable and honest. By releasing Pillow Talk, she infuses a combination of authenticity and unmatched lyricism and produces effortless quality time and time again. With Pillow Talk produced by Hitmaka, it's an evolution for herself and her musical identity. “Many of these songs were written solely by me, I’m still pushing my pen. Hitmaka and I put a lot into this... Playing with the name, this album indeed feels like you are laying in your bed talking to your guy or girl. It’s a very sexy, soft mood.” says Tink.
MorMor - Seasons Change
Written and produced by himself, 'Seasons Change' by MorMor is a recalling of the end of summer. Adding a feel-good groove to the body of the track, it references the experimental works of The Beatles. Speaking on the new single MorMor said "'Seasons Change' is a song about the constraints of time. The sentiment is that if you are to live once why not give into your natural desires."
